July is monsoon shoulder in two of our three shortlist destinations. Runners love monsoon running — cooler air, atmospheric light, fewer crowds, dramatic content. Surf stays gentle and beginner-friendly. We're building the itinerary to lean into it, not work around it.

Three options. Each filtered for July first week weather, real beach-run or zoned-fitness infrastructure, and a wellness story that fits how cloka actually moves. Koh Samui specifically is off the table — a competitor ran one there recently. Phuket gets its own slot because it's the world's Muay Thai capital and the only destination where Fight Club activates as a real pillar, not a substitute.

How we'd rank these for Drop 01: Phuket / Rawai is the strongest single-property fit on paper — STAY Wellbeing activates all four cloka pillars (Run, Lift, Fight, Recovery) under one roof at hotel grade, with the world's best Muay Thai scene 10 minutes away. Sri Lanka South Coast is the easiest sell — shortest flight from MAA (1.5 hrs direct), visa-free, monsoon-shoulder is a feature for runners. Bali (Keramas + Canggu) is the most globally desirable — strongest gym scene, surf identity, but the longest flight. We'd put Phuket and SL in a near-tie as the recommended pick depending on whether the founders prioritise Fight-Club fit or flight friction.

A note on pricing & capacity. Every property on this page has been filtered against three hard constraints: (1) capacity to comfortably host 30–50 pax in double occupancy, (2) per-pax all-in ceiling of ₹50K INR on double occupancy, and (3) hotel-grade rooms throughout — no dorms, no shared bunks. We've prioritised properties that share cloka's identity: places built for fitness, not places with a gym attached. Premium-wellness options (COMO Shambhala, Cape Weligama) and surf-camp boutiques with dorm-style rooms (Elsewhere, Soul & Surf) were dropped on price or accommodation grade. Detailed per-pax costing and final itinerary lock once we agree on destination and property.
